Make a Donation

As a non profit charitable organization, SVOPD’s programs and activities are supported by fundraising efforts, private and corporate donations, core and project funding dollars and most importantly people like you.Your generous donations will continue to offer publications, education and  programs for people with disabilities, other agencies, and, other community sectors. 

SVOPD  acknowledges our sponsors in our publications and at our events. Your donation will be used to support our many activities as Saskatchewan’s cross-disability organization.

Donations over $20, we do offer a tax deductible receipt.  Tax receipts will be sent by regular mail.

 Become a Volunteer

SVOPD is looking for committed, passionate people who are interested in becoming involved with our organization’s activities, programs and/or services. We often need help with events, light administrative duties or mail outs.

Board of Directors

Saskatchewan Voice of People with Disabilities is recognized as a high performing non-profit organization and enjoys a superior reputation for the services provided to people with disabilities. To maintain and build upon these excellent results, SVOPD needs a strong, dedicated volunteer Board of Directors.

Thank you for your interest in applying to join our Board. By doing so, you are making a commitment to community service. As a Director, you will be asked to attend monthly board meetings and serve on one other committee that focuses on quality and risk, finance, planning or governance.

Candidates must demonstrate community leadership, and possess an interest in services for people with disabilities and with the ability to think strategically. In order to complement the skills of the existing Board, experience in information systems and technology, law, and governance relations would be an asset.
Directors are appointed for 1 and 2 year terms.
The deadline to apply is March 31st every calendar year.
